Tsurumi U Series Waste Water Pumps

The Tsurumi U Series is a submersible sewage and wastewater pump range suited to applications where larger solids and fibrous matter may be present. Its recessed impeller and wide pump casing help move wastewater through the pump with less risk of obstruction, while selected models can be supplied with guide rail fitting options. This makes the range a practical fit for sump and wastewater installations where dependable solids passage, pump protection and easier maintenance access are important.

• Recessed vortex impeller: The impeller sits in the upper part of the pump casing and creates a whirlpool action to help move sewage containing solids and fibrous matter through the pump.
• Wide pump casing: The casing design gives larger solids and fibrous material more room to pass through the pump, helping reduce obstruction during wastewater pumping.
• U Series model range: The U Series includes 40mm, 50mm and 80mm discharge bore models, with motor outputs listed from 0.25kW to 3.7kW depending on the model.
• Guide rail fitting options: The U Series is listed with TOK and TOS guide rail fitting options on selected models, helping simplify pump removal and maintenance access.
• Mechanical seal protection: All pumps use a silicon carbide dual inside mechanical seal located outside the pumpage in an oil filled chamber. This helps protect the seal faces from corrosion, abrasion, fouling and cooling loss during run dry conditions.
• Oil Lifter design: The Oil Lifter supplies lubricant to the mechanical seal and continues feeding oil to the upper seal faces even if the lubricant falls below the rated volume.
• Motor protection: Models up to 7.5kW include a built in Circle Thermal Protector, which cuts the motor circuit if excessive heat or overcurrent occurs.
• Anti wicking cable entry: The cable entry includes an anti wicking block to help prevent water travelling along the cable conductor strands.
