Tsurumi PN Series Waste Water Pumps

The PN Series is a submersible wastewater pump range designed for handling wastewater and liquids containing small solids. Its semi-vortex design gives it moderate solids passage while supporting efficient performance across a range of lighter wastewater applications. Made from resin and 304 stainless steel, the range is also suited to jobs where corrosion resistance and easy handling are important. Liquid paraffin is used as the lubricating oil, which also makes the pump suitable for selected water feature, fishpond and aquaculture applications. • Auto alternation option: Auto alternation models are available on selected models and can be identified by the suffix “W”. These are used with an automatic model to support alternating operation in a duplex setup.
• TOK guide rail fitting option: Selected models can be used with the TOK guide rail fitting system, which allows the pump to connect to and from the pipework by lowering and hoisting it.
• Back pull-out design: The back pull-out design allows the motor to be separated from the pump unit with the impeller attached, helping make inspection and maintenance of key parts more practical.
• Mechanical seal protection: Dual inside mechanical seals with silicon carbide faces are isolated in the oil chamber, helping maintain a clean lubricating environment around the seal faces.
• Oil Lifter design: The Oil Lifter provides lubrication and cooling of the seal faces down to one third of the normal oil level, helping maintain stable shaft sealing and prolong seal life.
• Anti-wicking cable entry: Anti-wicking cable entry helps reduce the risk of water incursion if the cable sheath is damaged or the cable end is submerged.
