What is the C / C(CR) series designed to handle?
The C / C(CR) series is designed for sewage and wastewater applications where fibrous material can cause blocking issues. Its cutter mechanism helps break down incoming material so it can pass through the pump more smoothly.
What is the difference between C and C(CR) models?
The C type is listed as the high volume option, while the CR type is listed as the high head option. This helps match the pump to the type of wastewater duty required.
Are automatic models available in this range?
Yes. Selected automatic models are available and can be identified by the suffix “A”. These models use an integral control circuit and two low voltage float switches to operate in response to water level changes.
How does the auto alternation option work?
The auto alternation model is used with an automatic model so the two pumps can operate alternately without a control panel. Both pumps can also operate together if the water rises to an abnormal level.
Can this pump be removed for maintenance without entering the sump?
Yes. When used with the TOS / TO guide rail fitting system, the pump can be connected to or removed from the pipework by lowering or hoisting it. This helps make maintenance and inspection easier.
