Tsurumi C Series Waste Water Pumps

The Tsurumi C / C(CR) series is a submersible cutter pump range suited to sewage and wastewater applications where fibrous material can create blockage issues. It is designed to help break down incoming material before it moves through the pump, supporting smoother passage through the pump and connected pipework. With automatic, auto alternation and guide rail fitting options available on selected models, the range is a practical fit for wastewater installations where dependable operation, solids handling and easier maintenance access are important.

Key features

• Cutter pump design: Uses a cutter mechanism with sintered tungsten carbide alloy edges, a channel impeller and a saw tooth suction port to help cut fibrous material before it passes through the pump.
• C and C(CR) options: The model designation separates the C type as the high volume option and the CR type as the high head option.
• Automatic models available: Automatic models use an integral control circuit and two low voltage float switches, allowing the pump to respond to changing water levels. These models can be identified by the suffix “A”.
• Auto alternation option: Auto alternation models are used with an automatic model so two pumps can operate alternately without a control panel. These models have three floats and can be identified by the suffix “W”.
• Guide rail fitting system: The TOS / TO guide rail fitting system allows the pump to connect to and from the pipework by lowering or hoisting it, helping make inspection and maintenance easier without entering the sump.
• Motor protection: Models up to 7.5kW include a built in Circle Thermal Protector, while other models use Miniature Thermal Protectors embedded in the motor windings to help protect against excessive heat.
• Mechanical seal protection: The mechanical seal uses silicon carbide seal faces in an oil chamber, helping protect the seal from corrosion, abrasion, fouling and cooling loss during run dry conditions.
• Oil Lifter design: The Oil Lifter supplies lubricating oil to the mechanical seal and continues supplying oil to the upper seal faces even if the lubricant falls below the rated volume.
• Anti wicking cable entry: The cable entry includes an anti wicking block to help prevent wicking along the cable conductor strands.
