The Gorman-Rupp Super T Series is built for demanding solids handling duties where maintenance access and long-term reliability are just as important as pump performance. With service-focused design features, multiple drive configurations and optional solids management upgrades, the range is suited to sites that need a self-priming pump that can be inspected, adjusted and serviced with minimal disruption.

Key features

• Service-friendly design: The impeller, seal, wear plate and flap valve can be accessed through the shimless coverplate opening for inspection or service, without disconnecting pipework. This feature is not available on 10 inch models.
• Shimless coverplate adjustment: The external shimless adjustment design allows the clearance between the impeller and wearplate to be adjusted without realigning belts, couplings or other drive components.
• Removable rotating assembly: The rotating assembly can be removed without disturbing the pump volute or piping, with pusher bolt holes provided to assist removal.
• Cartridge mechanical seal: The range uses a double floating, self-aligning, oil lubricated cartridge mechanical seal with silicon carbide or tungsten titanium carbide faces, designed for abrasive and trash handling service.
• Solids-handling impeller: The two-vane, ductile iron, semi-open impeller can handle up to 3 inch diameter solids, depending on the pump model. Pump out vanes help reduce foreign material build-up behind the impeller and reduce pressure on the seal and bearings.
• Dual bearing protection: An atmospheric barrier and two lip seals provide added bearing protection, while also allowing external monitoring of the bearing cavity.
• Eradicator option: The Eradicator Solids Management System uses a self-cleaning wearplate with grooves, notches and a lacerating tooth to help break up stringy material and reduce clogging.
• Material options: Optional materials include G-R Hard Iron, 316 stainless steel, CD4MCu and high chrome, depending on the pump requirements.
• Drive and package options: The range is available in close-coupled, V-belt driven and engine driven configurations, as well as packaged pumping station and sound attenuated backup system options.
• Warranty support: Super T Series pumps come standard with a five-year warranty.
