Waste Water Screens

The KE/KS/KW-series is a front screen type automatic bar screen designed for screening wastewater. It is fully constructed from 304 stainless steel. Two or more rakes travel behind the screen bars located at the front side of the unit. Since every rake tooth moves between the screen bars, it can remove solid matters even though they lodge between the screen bars. In addition, the use of a small output motor enables to save the electricity. The bar screen is suitable for use in a waterway with varying water levels.

The KM-series is a rear screen type automatic bar screen designed for screening wastewater. It is fully constructed from 304 stainless steel. One or two rakes move on the screen bars that are located at the rear side of the unit. It has an innovative dry chain mechanism by which the chain or sprocket does not get contact with the liquid. In addition, the use of a small output motor enables to save the electricity. It is suitable for use in a waterway where there is little change in the liquid level.

The Drumscreen Monster® is a proven fine screening solution for municipal wastewater that has both high flows and lower solids content. When this rotary screen technology is used at a plants headworks it protects sensitive treatment processes including providing Membrane Biological Reactor (MBR) protection from fibers and other fine particles. This drum screen is also commonly used within clarifier scum screening operations.

The RSS Externally Fed Rotary Drum Screen is a reliable self-cleaning wedgewire screen for both municipal wastewater operations as well as many industrial screen applications. This screening technology performs particularly well in wastewater with high oil or grease loadings as well as scum applications that can blind other types of screens.

The Auger Monster® is a robust headworks solution which combines three of JWC’s finest technologies – a grinder, a fine screen and a compactor. This spiral screen removes trash and unwanted solids so the treatment plant runs more efficiently. The Auger Monster screw screen is proven to result in cleaner, more compact discharge and lowered disposal costs, as less water and fecal material are sent to the landfill.

Today’s resource recovery facilities demand screens that support a facility’s need to achieve high standards of effluent quality while being reliable and easy to maintain. Ultimately they must protect the treatment process from everything that comes down the channel. The Bandscreen Monster® offers incredibly high capture rates and removes a wide range of debris. This center flow band screen is ideally suited to provide fine screening in wastewater treatment systems.  This center flow screen will capture small particles and hair that can foul Membrane Bioreactors (MBRs) and drive unwanted maintenance.

The highly efficient Bar Screen Monster® is specifically designed to quickly and efficiently remove large slugs of debris coming down the channel.  This heavy duty screen uses a reciprocating rake to clean the wastewater bar screen and pull out debris in headworks and pump stations. The robust design of this mechanical bar screen makes it ideally suited for dealing with large storm flows that can overwhelm a lesser mechanical bar screen.

Forget the static bar racks and screens and throw away the bar screen rake.  Its time for a highly efficient continuously raked bar screen for your headworks, pump stations and storm overflows.   The Chain & Rake Monster ® is designed to provide quick removal of heavy slugs of material in order to protect downstream processes.  It robust designs is especially suited to quickly remove debris from heavy storm flows out of the channel and keep treatment systems running.

The Finescreen Monster eliminates the brush used on traditional flow through fine screens. Using the JWC’s Staple Guard UHMW perforated screening panels and just spray water, the Monster Finescreen is able to achieve excellent clean off. This has eliminated the maintenance problems brushes create and reduce the potential for material carry-over into the plant.

The SLB Screening Conveyor Compactor is an ideal pretreatment screening solution for rural housing, resorts, camps and other remote treatment works. It is designed to receive pumped influent directly from 2” or 3”  (50-75 mm) sewage pumps with a maximum 2” solid.  It will remove trash from primary effluent flows in the range of 50 – 300 gpm (11-68 m3/hr) ahead of the biological process.

The Screenings Washer Monster® (SWM) produces ultra-clean discharge using a patented system to grind, wash, compact and dewater debris captured by a screen. This screenings washer compactor is a self-contained system that produces the cleanest and most compact end product of screenings discharge compared to any wash press in the industry. With reduced volumes up to 95%, the savings in time and money are greater since less dumpster pick-ups are needed.

TLT Sewage Receiving systems are designed for taking in municipal sewage or septage and screening out solids prior to passing it on for further treatment. The TLT 100-300 products are designed to receive pumped municipal sewage and the larger TLT 400 and 500 are able to also accept septage waste from haul trucks.
